Being a wedding photographer in Tuscany is a great fortune. Located in the center of Italy, Tuscany is a region rich in history, art, culture, nature and traditions, a destination for tourists from all over the world.

Over the years I have photographed weddings in Tuscany in various locations, in Florence, both in its splendid churches with Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant rites, and with civil ceremonies in Palazzo Vecchio, with a symbolic ceremony in villas and hotels such as Villa MontaltoVilla Cora , Hotel Four SeasonsBelmond Villa San MicheleIl Salviatino and many others.

The typical Tuscan countryside is chosen as a location for their wedding in Tuscany by many spouses from all over the world, in particular the Chianti area is the one that is the most popular, castles and farmhouses are the most popular destinations.

The most exclusive castles where I took wedding photos are: Castello il PalagioCastello VicchiomaggioCastello di MeletoCastello di Bibbione, Castello del TrebbioCastello di Montegufoni.

Among farmhouses, villas and small villages in Tuscany, still in the Chianti area I would like to mention: Borgo CastelvecchiVilla Il MocaleVilla Il PetriccioAncient farm of PaternoVilla di ArtiminoVilla CastellettiVilla Le piazzoleVilla il Poggiale.

The cities of San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Certaldo, Greve in Chianti, Cortona and Siena are also very important wedding destinations in Tuscany.

How not to mention the Crete Senesi and the Val d ‘Orcia, with its hills and its landscapes, other places that I frequented a lot as a wedding photographer in Tuscany, with its medieval cities: Pienza, San Quirico D’ Orcia and Montalcino and the famous little Church of Vitaleta in the middle of the hills between fields of wheat and sunflowers, as well as the roofless Church of San Galgano with its sword in the stone.

The Val d’Orcia in the past was also the set of famous movies such as “The Gladiator” (Ridley Scott – Russell Crowe), “The English Patient” (Anthony Minghella – Juliette Binoche), “Nostalghia” (Andrej Tarkovskij).
